The Impossible

pricing & philosophy

My approach to rating and pricing projects is fundamentally different from transactional software agencies. I am a full-cycle software engineering partner dedicated to building legacies, not completing checklists.

Therefore, my "rating" system is based on strategic alignment and complexity—factors that justify my premium pricing and ensure a sustainable, long-term partnership.

I utilize a Product First Engineering philosophy, ensuring that the necessary strategic and foundational work is completed before any development begins.

Project Rating.

I evaluate potential engagements against a rigorous filter—the "The Impossible" Litmus Test—to ensure they match my niche, which specializes in complexity. Projects that are transactional, imitative, or short-term are immediately rejected.

Elite / Visionary ✅

Projects I Pick

  • Must be Visionary (doesn't exist yet) and Risk-embracing.
  • Objective is a long-term partnership (2+ year vision).
  • Prioritizes bespoke aesthetics and capability over simple conversion.

Typical Scope:

Phase 1: Deep Dive, Custom AI/ML Engineering, 3D/Motion Web Experiences, System Automation, Continuous Retainer.

Transactional ❌

Projects Rejected

  • Short-term, maintenance work.
  • Replication of existing CRUD apps.
  • Simple dropshipping stores.
  • Projects focused solely on quick fixes.

These projects do not fit my criteria for partnership.

Pricing Models.
Predictability and certainty.

I do not provide simple hourly rates or budget estimates in a single text or PDF, as price is intrinsically linked to the demonstrable value delivered.
